Morocco!!!! I-129F

I wanted to send as much information and evidence about our relationship. His Family was going to write a letter like witnesses to our relationship. I wanted to know if it is accepted or done in Morocco to get these types of letters notarized and translated. Can anyone with Moroccan Fiance find out or confirm. My Fiance is not sure if they will do this for him at a notary.

I don't think it's necessary u mist to proof u met the both in person,flight ticked,letters,chats,phone bills etc

Also two years of outgoing relationship ,saved conversation,screen shoots ,but I did not a notarized letter about us and we got approved by USCIS

The purpose of the letter is to further prove a bonafide relationship and yes there are notary public services in Morocco. They serve a better purpose at the embassy as they are the ones approving and issuing the visa.

Thank you for the response. I know there are notaries but I wasn't sure if they would accept just any written letter without it being a legal document like a contract and so on. So you recommend his family taking it to the U.S. embassy there to notarize.?? I was also thinking of the translation. Not sure if that service would be done at the embassy if that is where you are referring me to. My Fiance told me they are really picky on what they notarize and purpose of document. I would imagine if you explain it's for Immigration they would understand...

My husband said he wrote it on a word document in Arabic and then went to mokata3a and galiziha (stamped it) then he translated it and send it to me, I submitted it with the I-129F. The Embassey recognizes these dicuments. He did not get it notarized at the Embassey he can be let in if you are with him but anyone making the statement will not be given the service at the ebassey.

I would think the translation should be (stamped) notarized as well...

Did you meet his family in person? I've only had the chance to chat with them on Skype... I will soon this summer but they were saying sense they haven't meet me in person yet the letter will probably not be accepted for notarization... What do you think?

My apologies I just read your question. We had already met and married when his mother gave us the notarized letter. A signed letter that is not notarized does not validate who actually signed it the notarizing serves the purpose that the person who wrote the statement is the same person who signed it.
