It's been 9 days since we received email/text that petition was approved yet no hard copy in mail yet. It only took a couple of days for other notices...why so long now? Don't I need to send my fiance the hard copy with all the other documents? I Will call NVC on Monday to see if they have received the petition...but still worried that hard copy lost in mail or something.

You actually don't need to send your fiance anything, since you will have to be there for the interview you can actually just have it with you & take it with you. Just make extra copies for safe keeping just in case. But yea call and find out when it was sent out but mine took a little longer to get to me compared to the amount of time I got the NOA1.

Decided to call NVC today. Petition was received by NVC and forwarded to SDO Embassy on 03/07/2012. Said it will take a few WEEKS to get there?!!!!! Got case number! So all is going smoothly...just need that hard copy!

OK, thanx! I just called NVC and got case number and it has already been sent to embassy, but said will take a few weeks to get there! And then embassy will send packet 3 to my fiance.

@Mad1nola.. ellos te hablan de un packet 3 pero en DR no se usa ese packet.. So de aqui palante solo esperar el packet 4 q tiene lo q tienen q hacer de aqui a q llegue su cita.. :)

Thats correct...lol thats exactly what I said..and as far as whats in it and when he will get it is as follow: The packet has da letter dat indicates the time, date, location of the interview, instructuons on him doing his medical, Banco Popular fees, da fee that has to be paid on the day of the appt and all the forms that he has to fill out to take with u guys to ur appt. Now either you or him or both of you will get the packet by mail but if neither of you have it atleast 2 weeks before ur interview its best u call da embassy to get a duplicate since you need the letter dats in da packet in order to get his medical done..

NVC has yet to recieve my case ugh!!! Hoping for an interview in early May! :crying:

• Nov 14, 2011 - I-129F packet sent.

• Nov 15, 2011 - Packet received and signed by (J. Authur)

• Nov 18, 2011 - NOA1 (Notice by text message and Email)

• Mar 02, 2012 - NOA2 (Notice by text message and Email) [Took 105 days]

• Mar 07, 2012 - NOA2 Hard copy arrived by mail.

• Mar 19, 2012 - NVC recieved my case.

• Mar 20, 2012 - NVC fowarded my case to US embassy in DR.

• April 05, 2012 - DOS gave us our interview date. (May 14th)

• Dec 20, 2012 - I-485 packet sent.

• Dec 21, 2012 - Packet recieved and signed by (...)

• Dec 27, 2012 - NOA1 (Notice by text message and Email)
