Can the US fiance go in and wait with the Mexican fiance during the interview, medical exam and biometrics? Or is there a seating area outside where they can wait? I'd like to go for support but because he isn't listed for what is required for assistants on the website I have a feeling I won't be able to go.

Sorry, but you can't wait with your fiance during the interview, medical or biometrics. You can wait outside. There is a seating area outside the consulate. It is an open plaza with fixe seating and table. For the biometric, there are some seating nearby. But I choose to sit on the curb next to other waiting people. I tried to sit in the shade because it was getting hot in sun. The medical office (second office away from the corner) has a waiting area for family members to wait.

I hope this helps you. :)
