K-1 Fiance Interview

Hi everyone,

We filed for the I-129F petition, was approved. Sent back Packet 3 yesterday. How long does it usually take between sending Packet 3 and receiving Packet 4? (Montreal).

Also, one more question... Are K1-Fiance visa interview booked by us? Or booked by the consulate or whoever (lol). Just because i've read different things with different people.. Unless they don't have the same K1 as me..

So frustrating waiting and waiting.. ALSO! I booked my medical for next week, Medysis indicated they just need a letter with my name and our MTl case number, which we have from the letter they sent my fiance to tell us the Packet 3 was coming. Is that ok?

For me the time it took between Packet 3 and 4 was a week. But I called to see if Packet 4 was sent, I didn't wait to receive it. I haven't received it yet. Once you get word from the Department of State you can book an interview you have to go to the visa website to do so. There is a pinned link up at the top of this forum that tells you all about it. K1 visa's do not get booked for you. Right now, there are no interviews available on the website but hopefully they should open up soon!I think the letter from Packet 3 would be ok for the medical.

1. The time between Packet 3 and Packet 4 was about a week for me.

2. K1s book their own interview.

3. If Medisy's told you they just need your name and case number and the letter has those things then it should be sufficient.
