Need filipina Advice

Buy a sewing machine, or have the clothes altered. Most of the time, it is just a matter of changing the hem or sleeve length, if you can find cloths that fit otherwise. Don't worry, she will fill out to an American size within six months after arriving in the US.

... she has been here 7 months... still as tiny as ever apart from the pregnancy. She didn't start gaining weight until the last month. She weighed 80 pounds when she got here, and in February weighed 80 pounds....between February and now she has only gained 15 pounds. All 15 pounds are pregnancy weight.

She does not eat hamburgers, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, american spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, red beans and rice, soups, or drink milk.

She mainly eats rice, vegetables, pencit, shrimp, chicken, mangoes, bananas, coconut milk and drink water, sometimes sprite. She does like Tom Kai Gui as well. Plus she eats grilled steak and pork when I cook it. she also likes corn dogs. she likes cookie crisp, and cocoa puffs to eat without milk.

She tried a dill pickle. How I wish I had my camera on me at the time. the face was amazing.... she was not expecting something that sour. The "family" has bread and butter pickles at their house. I mainly have dill pickles, sweet relish, and sweet gherkins. (When I worked in the fast food chains, I loved to eat dill pickles for a snack.)

One thing we talk about a lot is the smell of food. Her food does not always smell good to me. As I am sure my food does not always smell good to her. I told her this is what we are accustomed to. You grew up with different cooking styles, and different methods of cooking food. Your styles were to deal with the fact of no storage or refrigeration. While the style here reflects it. There is also more spices used here in America then in her village. This is reflected in how things smell. vinegar, soy sauce are not typical things we cook with. I tell her that her food is good. However, I don't most of it because it does not smell good to me. It is not that I don't want to eat her food. It is because the smell is not something I associate with good food, but I am trying to learn the smell.

the don't have my status..... was looking for out of mind or family relocated to philippines.... or at least between filing forms.... figured AOS was the best ...... ah well.... just put me as burning up in Phoenix.... Hot pants and Hot lips with Burning feet...

N/A works for me. I haven't signed anything since ROC, and the wife is now a US citizen.

oh boy how self centered pinay she is lol im a pinay too but for god sake she should know how to give back to all what you've done for her my graciousssss.... but then again try to fix things and talk to her about all of these then if nothings happen you have no choice but to put her back where she is belong, good luck man!

I think there is no more help in advicing this guy coz according to his status, they seem married now and the wife is into AOS and even asking advice here in vj on how the wife's sister will be able to come to the US. Seems everything went ok for them.. which is good

Yeah, right, talk to her, or give her time. BULL!!! You have been given a gift my friend. She has revealed her true colors early on. If she was so inclined to meet you halfway and do her part in the relationship, you would have already seen some evidence of that. Me, me, me? Sounds like a spoiled brat. The writing is on the wall. Get out while you can, or regret it later. And be prepared, when she learns that you are pulling the plug, that she will finally make an effort. It will only last long enough to screw you up.

Hmmm...what does "married couple" mean?

Does it mean 1) HIS version of the "facts" is accurate? 2) Does it mean HE should have every one of HIS demands meet for her to be considered a good wife?

Does your "married couple" mean owner and owned?
