Hi all,

I am filing for AOS from F1. My US citizen husband is my principal sponsor. Almost finished assembling the AOS package, but before sending it in, I just wanted to run a checklist with you all to see if I am missing something. Any inputs/suggestions will be gratefully received, So, here goes:

Forms:

1) G-1145 E- Notification of Acceptance

2) G-325 A (three numbers)

3) I-130, Petition for Alien Relative

5) I-131, Application for Travel Document

6) I-864, Affidavit of Support

7) I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence

8) I-765 Application for Employment Authorization

9) Form I-693 Medical Examination

Supporting Documents: (Copies)

1) Passport

2) I-94, front and back

3) F1 visa

4) EAD, front and back

5) All I-20s

6) Sponsor's naturalization certificate and name change approval document

7) Marriage Certificate

8) Proof of birth such as two affidavits (one from mother, one from maternal aunt), birth certificate from Indian Consulate in NY, Indian government-issued ID card and Indian Driving License (as secondary proofs)

9) Most recent tax returns with W2 and a few pay stubs

10) Evidences of bonafide marriage (we have been married for five and a half years)

-IRS transcripts for three years showing 'Married, Filing Joint' status

-Leases

-Husband's medical insurance card showing me as dependant

-Husband's life insurance policy showing me as beneficiary

-Husband's driving license and my State ID card, both showing same address

- Photos taken during wedding/post-wedding celebrations showing relatives from both sides, photos with friends and photos

taken during trips jointly (three each, a total of twelve)

11) Husband's Employment Letter as proof of income

We do not currently have a joint bank account and we are apprehensive of sending details of joint credit cards since we do not want sensitive credit card information lying about in the immigration office. If more photos are required, we can always show them during the interview (we have two HUGE albums)

I will be filing each of the forms and required supporting documentation in separate envelopes and then put them all together in a larger mailer envelope. I will be labeling each individual envelope and enclosing separate cover letters for each envelope, listing the enclosed documents.

Am I sending enough documentation? What have I left out? Is there a better way of organizing the documents?

Waiting for responses.

Cheers!

From what I can tell looks good...you do have your passport style photos included with the 325's right?

It is not necessary to send bank documents - I chose not too as well. We do have them to bring to the interview if we feel like it then.

Also it is not necessary to file in separate envelopes - just seperate them with clips of some kind if you want to keep it organized. It will not help in any way to have it all seperate.

July 2005 - met my awesome, hot, amazing love in Lousiana.
July 2006 - Married said love and moved to Canada.
June 2011 - Entered US to visit family, decided to stay.
Feb. 2012 - Sent paperwork to Chicago.

May 2012 - Received green card.

Day 7 - All Checks Cashed - 03/05/2012
Day 11 - Hard Copy NOA's Received - 03/09/2012
Day 11 - Biometrics Appointment Received - 03/09/2012
--------- - Booked for - 04/03/2012 (day 36)
