Non Immigrant Number for L1?

Hello-

Where would I find my non immigrant number? I searched this forum and the answer isn't there or is unclear. All I have in my possession is my Canadian passport with my I-94 card fastened.

Thanks again!

You might not have one. Did you apply for L1 at the border or at the consulate? Do you have an actual visa in your passport?

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

Hello,

I applied at the border-and I am glad you asked, because I was unsure about the consolate question.

Thanks,

Okay, so you do not have a visa number as you have no visa. You entered under the terms of a L1 visa and applied at the border. This is a unique arrangement that only Canadians have. A lot of the form questions won't apply to you. It might benefit you to study the "normal" visa process for a bit so you can better understand how yours differs, although I think this about covers it. The Canadian subforum might also be able to help.

Hello,

I'm sorry to revisit this, but I am still having trouble. While I know I do not have a non immigrant ID...do I indicate that I applied at the border, rather than a consulate?

Thanks again.

I would write a little explanation sheet explaining how you got your visa status. Make it abundantly clear to them what happened, and why so many parts of "visa #" and "embassy where applied" is marked N/A. They should know about this with Canadians, but it doesn't hurt to be super clear.
