And after reading the forums day in, day out ... I've had

a complete mind blank and forgot what this response means,

but this is the start of the email I just received:

Initial Review

On March 8, 2012, we transferred this case to your USCIS local field office

for additional processing. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made,

or if the office needs something from you. If you move while this case is pending,

I do not know about your case.

If this is for a spouse visa I-130 petition

Having the case transferred to a local office where the american lives if the benficiary is out of country---it is not usually a good thing

They want to interview the american to find out if the relationship is real

Gather all your proofs to bring with youi

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

INTERVIEW RESULTS-APPROVED WITH 14 WEEKS AP--but he got his visa in 56 days!!!!!!

Hopefully that's not the case! I've been hanging out

with the hubby over here in England since January 2011.

I filled out the address as if I was still based

in California since I don't have any kind of legal

residency in England. I just came over on a tourist

visa a year ago and have been here ever since and

only planned on going back with my husband.

But I'll go back to California if they need me to

I guess!

I think you need to call USCIS and find out what it means. And do a change of address form with them so they know where you are. Maybe they can transfer the interview to the embassy there or is there a uscis office there?

Was your case also pulled aside for additional processing?

I think the notice that I received is quite different from

the initial receipt I received back in August which mentions

being routed to the CSC.

If you put your address as a US address that is why it was sent to the CSC.

Is the notice for the I-130 or the I-129F?

It's possible they sent the I-129F from Dallas to California because the K-3 is being administratively closed and they will move forward with the I-130 and the CR-1

She has had her NOA1's since late august and early sept

This is the form they send petitioners that they want to interview in the USA before they will approve a petition

She has contacted alot of people about her petition

So I do not know if this is the standard interview that they want more proof of the relationship or if

this is something new since she contacted many people to expedite her petition
