I am the co-sponsor for my son's, fiancee's K-1 Visa. I do not claim my son on my income tax return and I have not filed a Visa petition for anyone, however I am confused as to how I should answer questions 8 and 10 on the I-134. Maybe I am over thinking this... please make up my mind!!!

Questions:

8. The following persons are dependent upon me for support: (check the bos in the approprite colum to indicate whether the person named is wholly or partially dependent upon you for support.)

Should I list my son as a dependent even though I do not claim him on tax return, since I will be

supporting him until he gains employment, when he returns from the Peace Corps?

10. I have submitted a visa petition(s) to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services on behalf of the

following persons(s). If none, state "None".

Should I state None and then state I will be the co-sponsor for my son's Fiance? Or just state None?

If you do not claim your son on your taxes, then do not list him as a dependent for #8

Yes, in #10 you would put None, since you are not petitioning for her. Your son will list her on #10 of his own I-134, since he is the petitioner for her.
