USPS Deliver to Lee's Summit PO Box

Hi All,

I received an RFE for my AOS application a week or so ago, no big deal I got that taken care of.

The RFE Notice said to send the response to their address in Lee's Summit, MO. The address is PO Box 648004, Lee's Summit, MO 64002.

I sent off the package on Monday, I sent it priority mail with delivery confirmation.

Today I received an email from USPS which stated this.

"Notice Left (No LEES SUMMIT MO 64002 03/08/12 11:32am

Authorized Recipient Available)"

and this.

"We attempted to deliver your item at 11:32 am on March 08, 2012

in LEES SUMMIT, MO 64002 and a notice was left because an

authorized recipient was not available. You may arrange redelivery

by visiting

www.usps.com/redelivery or calling 800-ASK-USPS, or may pick

up the item at the Post Office indicated on the notice. If this

item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the

sender. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout

the day. Please check again later."

Of course then I just thought, of course, no one is going to be sitting in a PO Box waiting to sign for my package :bonk: :bonk:

So what I'm presuming, is that tomorrow or Monday when they collect their PO Box mail, they will see the note and collect my package?

I'm assuming it's just going to be okay, but I was wondering if this as ever happened to anyone else? Can I call USPS and tell them to just deliver it to the PO Box without requiring a signature?

Your thoughts are appreciated, thank you
