The fee is $ 350.- plus the cost for the medical and vaccinations

What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2):

1.A copy of the entire I-129f package (that you made when you sent the petition in) and a copy of information that you sent back due to an RFE (if you received one).

2.Send all originals of the documentary proof that you submitted for the I-129F to your fiance(e) for their interview at the embassy.

3.Send an original letter affirming your desire to marry your fiance(e) and your continued support of the K-1 Visa. Sign and date the form. This will be similar to the letter you provided with the I-129F, but dated much closer to the interview (it will have most likely been several months since you submitted your I-129F).

4.I-134 Affidavit of Support form. Ensure it is signed, with all required supporting evidence. Begin collecting the required information ahead of time, as it can often take several weeks to collect it all.

5.You will likely need at a minimum (for the above form) two to three of your most recent pay stubs and a signed letter from your employer listing you job title, start date, your salary, and the status (full-time) of your position. Begin collecting these ASAP after your NOA2 arrives. You will also probably want to include other evidence such as your banking information and other assets as required by the I-134. Specifically you will need at least 2 of the 4 options mentioned in Section II-Supporting Evidence of the I-134. See this FAQ for more tips and ueful information on the Affidavit of Support Form.

6.A copy of the NOA2 that you received in the mail.

7.Proof of your ongoing relationship. This needs to be taken to the interview! Include photos, travel documents, emails, etc from between the time you filed and present (NOA1 date-now).

Examples: Copies of land line and cell phone bills, appropriate emails and letters you have sent including the stamps on envelopes (to document the date they were sent), and other written documentary proof. Provide a reasonable amount; two to four of each type. Pick a range of dates up to and including the present. You can also include a copy of engagement ring receipt (this is something that is a big optional - do not worry if you do not have a ring yet!)

For Number 4 and 5, is it true if the USC basic salary is well above the 'poverty line', she/he doesn't need to provide other documents: shares, bank statements, investments, retirement funds.???? Just show the pay stubs and employer letter is enough?

yes that is correct. If salary is above poverty line, just provied tax return, pay stubs and letter from company (whatever is listed on the I-134 instructions)

. don't need bank info, investments or anything else.

I am also preparing my reply to packet 3 at the moment and I have a question regarding point 1 and 2 of the list that has been posted in here ...

It seems to be the case that the procedures have changed since May. So now we have to send in everything when we send in packet 3, not just the 3/4 forms and the checklist. Also, on the German embassy site I read that you cannot get an interview date if you don't have your medical results yet. So a walk-in at the panel doctor in Franfurt on the day of the interview or a day before isn't really possible anymore I would say.I don't know if the proceedings have just changed for Germany, but I thought maybe that would be interesting for some people on here

What confuses me now is the thing with the original petition and the originals of the documentary proof of the original petition. What do I need this for? Do I have to send it in with my packet 3 as well? Also, there seem to be different opinions on the renewed letter of intent. Do we have to include it or is it not necessary anymore? And what address needs to be put on this (and also on the cover letter)? The consulate's or the Homeland Security one?

And I even have another question  My fiancé and I were just discussing the packet 3 on Skype and we were wondering where exactly it says that you have to send in all the proof of the ongoing relationship. We have all of that, but other than the one point on the DS-156K ("evidence of your engagement") it doesn't say to do it anywhere. We will include pics, boarding passes and all that, but do we have to send all the originals or will copies suffice?

I'm sorry for flooding this with my question, but we just want to make sure everything is correct :innocent:

Correction. The I-129F filing fee is $340 now. Please do not write out a check for the wrong amount. Your petition will be rejected and cause delay.

I-129F filing= $340

visa application= $240

You should check fees from time to time if you file at a later date as they do change. You can always get the most current petition fee from the current I-129F instruction form at the USCIS website.

You can get the most current visa application fee from the US Department of State website or through your US embassy website.

If you cannot find the answers you need from the links below for Germany, then you should probably ask specific questions about consulate procedures and requirements for the K-1 interview in your regional forum.

This post was from back in March, and the visa processing fee was still $350 then. However, yes, it is $240 now, since April 13th

The problem is German consulate recently updated their procedures, however, their website still lists the old procedure. I agree with trying the regional forum. You could also try contacting the consulate directly at FrankfurtIV@state.gov. They were quick to respond to our inquiries during the process.

Total elapsed time between filing I-129F to GC in hand 569 days or 1 Year, 6 months, 22 days.

Ahh, I see. Well, they need to change their website then. It is going to be very difficult and confusing for those just getting their NOA2 to know what to send or do.

OP> Good luck! Hope you find your answers in the regional forum or by emailing the consulate directly.
