Hey everyone! This may be a silly question but here goes...

Does anyone know EXACTLY what vaccines are required for AOS?? Are different ones required from different countries?

Does anyone have a link with a list of them?

For an adult 19-59 yrs old. You do not have to wait to complete the whole series if one shot is given.

MMR

Td or Tdap or DT or DTP or DtaP (One no longer than 10 years ago, ie.have a booster)

Varicella or VH written by it if you had chickenpox

*Influenza during flu season defined Oct 1-Mar 31.

You will see that the first link includes HPV and Zoster but the USCIS link does not. Those were removed from immigration vaccination requirements but the CDC still suggests people get them (not immigrants specifically, everyone) so that's why they haven't been removed from that list. You are NOT required to have Zoster or HPV if you don't want to.

Julie--I remember your case now and not getting something because of pregnancy. I would send in a copy of you DS-3025 and see if they waive the requirements. MMR is still contraindicated for you so that is eligible for waiver still. Don't know about the TB. There is not a high incidence of TB in the UK and it might be overlooked if no symptoms were presented at your exam. If you get an RFE, then see a civil surgeon. If you don't, then you're months ahead.

The reason I gave the chart http://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/exams/ti/civil/vaccination-civil-technical-instructions.html#tbl1 is because that is the current chart for civil surgeons. they still operate under the 2009 Technical Instructions with the exception of the influenza change of 2010 which is changed on the chart. Scroll up from the chart to find all the CS technical instructions.

Yes that's right, I didn't get vaccines or x-rays because I am pregnant. This is a good idea only I still need x-rays...do you think these would waived also?

I have records of getting my TB vaccine also. Looking at the list, looks like I won't require any vaccines anyway but just worried about the x-rays.

A TB skin test is what civil surgeons give first to clear you of TB. If that shows positive, then an x-ray. Some people who had the BCG show positive to skin test. You can be pregnant and get a skin test. I was thinking file and see what happens. By the time they evaluate your case, the baby will be born. If you get an RFE, then go to a CS. You will be approved shortly after you respond to the RFE because you've already made it through the wait time to the adjudicator's desk. And if you don't get an RFE, then yay!, no extra money spent or waiting until May to file. I don't know what will happen, but an RFE isn't a big deal. Meanwhile your case starts in the queue sooner than waiting for baby before filing.
