Hello,

My husband is the petitioner my father-in-law is the only joint sponsor. He is more able to support me in the terms of the affadavit and as such has all the documents they need and then some. My husband has got all of the necessary documents apart from the federal tax income sheet. - Can I send it off without this and if they need it they'll request it. Or will this be a deal breaker?

As always sorry if this seems stupid.

Thank you

Yes, thanks. I know that is says that, I just wanted to see if it was make or break as I really want to get these forms out. You'll have to forgive me, I am from the UK and I am sifting through all this information and it's confusing.

How does he go about acquiring this tax receipt form? If you go on the IRS website it's lots of links. Not being from here, it's harder to navigate.

Is there a specific page I can go to and what's the process and how long does it take please?

Thank you
