need some information about AP!!

dear VS as u guys know i been AP for about 4 and half months now.. i called DOS last week twice they told me they are working on my case.. i called this monday they have told me samething.. but i called them today and a lady told me my case still in AP.. but they send it back to dhaka embassy.. so i asked the lady if they finish all the processing in here she said its still under AP.. she cant tell me anything..what is that mean.. ? is it going to finish or something? please help.

It means that it's still being processed and no final decision has been made. But since they had previously informed you that it was being reviewed and now it has been forwarded back to the embassy, there is a good chance that it will AP will be complete after final approval from the embassy. Keep checking in with them to see the changes in status.

thanx sam.. havent seen u in a while.. hows eveything going with u now? i hope u will be fine.. sam the thing is i dont trust these people they saying one thing but they do something else thats why..i will not believe until my hubby get his visa on his hand..

I know, they are very shady and oftentimes give one answer when it is really another. But what I'm hoping for you is that this is the tail end of the AP and that they have forwarded ti to the embassy to be approved and completed. It really does sound that way but as I said, continue to call and check the status. If you call again and they continue to say it is at or on its way to the embassy, that's great. I would think that, especially if its approved, you will hear something very soon, maybe within 2 weeks.

I know...it is horrible and it feels like torture. Believe me, I know. It's like a top secret mission and we aren't allowed to know the details. It's not a good system to do things. I understand in some countries, it takes time to run checks on people, etc....but does it really take 5 or 8 months? That seems a bit exaggerating to me. But, as you know, we are just case numbers to them....they could care less about our feelings and we will never change the way they work.

That bothered me also, when I called DOS. They had the worst attitudes and it was rare to get a pleasant person. And then if you call back in 5 minutes, they tell you something different. Just hang in there....it will all be over soon.

now ur in the same page.. thats why i dont trust them anymore.. i think they can tell that when u call them so much.. thats why they just dont want u to cal them so much thats why they just made up something and tell us.. i just badly wants him to get his visa.. im too tired take care

I can bet you will even forget your buddies in here ;-). In the name of "trying to avoid fraud" this stupid bureaucratic process came to a position where no one has any accountability. It is sad to say that system like this not only exists but exists to support its own citizen!!!!!

Hold tight and think of those who are even in a dire situation than you are, who are on waiting list for 10 months or more. Bit won't help, I know and it won't ease the pain in any way, but what else can you do? Stay positive and give away free donuts ;-). And before you do make sure you let me know the location and timing :-)
