You don't apply to legally change ur name if you did this then you would be changing the name on your birth certificate.

For your green card to be issued in your married name you must fill out everything in your married name. If you are now using your married name as your name then fill the form in with that.

The red number on the visa is the immigrant visa number. - mine is all numbers no letters.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Yes, ours started with a "C" but even so it is the RED number on the visa Ours was above the word "Constitution"

You enter the surname you want the GC in. If that is your husband's then enter his surname. If you want to keep your maiden name then enter your surname. Just a note when the passport surname and GC surnames are different: the tickets MUST be in the name on the government issued ID used for international travel--i.e. your passport. You may want to bring along a copy of your marriage certificate to show that you are married and your new surname for re-entry into the US using your GC.

Yes, that is the one. I suggest that you use your maid name and you can change it after you get your card. Otherwise, you will be asked for proving.

This is incorrect as i said above unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars to have your green card in your married name. Fill out ALL the AOS forms in your married name to get the green card in your married name.

The paper that proves use of married name is your marriage certificate. That is all.
