Salam Alikom everyone , I just wanted to share my hard experience , it might be useful for some people who had or having the same one

My interview was set on Dec,2011 , I appeared at the embassy for my interview with all the Evidence they might ask me to show " photo Album , hundreds of Chats , Phone cards , Western union Receipts , cards " and I was ready for any Questions they might ask me about our Relationship and anything includes my wife's life , but since I have been to the USA twice , and I applied at an immigration attorney for extension of my visa , that made them suspect me .

the interview Kept asking me about that immigration attorney thing and how do i know the person I put his name as the sponsor " My cousin and his american wife " , and she didn't ask me to show any Evidence of what I brought to the interview .. then , she handled me a piece of paper which says " Section 221(g) " >> " your case is being Referred to the Fraud prevention unit for investigation " .. then she said " we are done for today , we will contact you " with no Smiles but I smiled and said thank you ! :hehe:

I was not in Shock , I knew that process is going to end because my marriage is REAL ! if they sent it to that Fraud thing or even sent it back to USCIS office , I knew that would end with my visa to go see my wife !!

Here is what I did after the interview : 1- called my wife told her what happened , she was a sleep and she thought that was a nightmare ,

2- My wife called our Lawyer and immediately the lawyer sent a letter and an email to the embassy , so did my wife .

3- 10 days later , My wife contacted her congresswoman , and they contacted the washington office to know my case status

2 weeks later " which is 2 month total time after the interview " they called my from the embassy , and they asked me to Submit my passport so they can print my visa " I felt so happy and I called my wife to tell her the Great news , I submitted my passport by DHL right after i called my wife , and I got my passport 6 days later !

.................................................................................

that was my bad-good experience at Ciro embassy , I hope my case would help anyone that had the same case to figure out what he/she has to do ,

and My advices : 1- Good attorney . 2- your congressman/woman . 3- KEEP fighting . 4- believe !!!

Excuse me , i gotta go now to get everything in order before leaving ! you all enjoy your day .. be strong , you're an Egyptian ;)

In my case I DID contact my Congressman, so I guess my further advice is you must ask them to do particulars, because I did not get my case taken to Washington. Instead she looked into our case and corresponded with the Consulate, which obviously got us nowhere.

I even went as far as to write the President, The First Lady, Hilary Clinton, all to no avail and no replies back. Everyday my husband and I wrote for a month. I thought I was being proactive, and doing what needed to be done. So for those of you who face a denial, don't sit back and take it. Remember as much as you can from this site and take matters into your own hands and lead the bull by the nose ring.
