Sworn Affidavits

Hi guys,

I'm close to finally having everything ready to send, however, the one thing Im missing are some sworn affidavits. Were going to have our parents write an affidavit each however I have a few questions before I get them to finalise them. I can't get to find any recent examples of any, that I can look through to guide them through the writing process. So, Im hoping someone might have a recent example I can look through? Failing that, Im hoping someone would be able to guide me through exactly what NEEDS to be put on, and what is RECOMMENDED to include? Should the letter be handwritten?

Sorry to have to ask, however, as always, I just want to make sure I can have everything as accurate as possible!

USCIS has guidelines for affidavits, which you can find. Off the top of my head, they should include the person's name,address, phone number, and maybe their SSN or other ID number. The content is up to you. The more personal the better. Something copied from the internet will have zero value, so I would avoid looking for "samples." Have each parent write something about you and your marriage, when they met you (or your wife), etc.
