Hello Friends.

I am from Mumbai, India and currently awaiting NOA2. In the meanwhile I just thought of collecting documents for the NVC stage. I then found out that a Police Clearance Certificate is required for NVC stage. Can anyone please let me know from where to arrange it.

Any comments would be of great help.

Thanks,

akshata

Hello,

Just a little heads up on that -

I applied for the PCC for my husband in the passport office in Bangalore and even after 2 weeks of applying, I haven't heard back from them. It tells me that the next step would be to take an appointment on their website. But believe it or not, it has been such a hard thing to do. Everyday I try, but it tells me that all the slots are taken and I should check back the next day at 6PM. Well I log back in the next day, but I get the same message "slots full try the next day".

I was told that it's practically impossible to take an appointment on their website and we should find out a "broker" who can get us an appointment quicker and he charges 1k.

Just a little hint there....

I think my husband is trying to talk to that "broker" in a day or two, but again it's in Bangalore. So please find a broker in Mumbai.

Broker is not required. No broker can help you to get the appointment from PSK website. I agree that their site is quite busy, and really hard to get the slot.

Call PSK Customer care, and ask them about which of their center do not require appointment for PCC.

I applied for PCC, and went there without any appointment. Because that particular PSK didnt require appointment for PCC.

No "broker" is gonna be able to help you get an appointment. My advice is to ignore these touts. If slots are filled for a certain day, ask your husband to check the website for the available slots over the next few days instead of looking up just one particular day!

As iwating & Divya said don't go for the touts...just see if you can fill the application form provided online through offline and then take that printout to the PSK and let them know your situation, there might be some help..

Good Luck..
