Hello!! I am a US Citizen and my husband and I have finally made it to the US after a year of processing. OOF! Now that we are here, with our 6 month old daughter, we are wishing to bring my husband's sister here to help care for our child.

Do you have any advice on the best way to go about this??? We'd like her to stay for at least a year if possible. We can enroll her in a vocational study program... going to an actual college and student visa seems really lengthy, so we are looking for the easiest...ANY help is appreciated!! Thanks!!!

Aaron is correct. She is not going to get a work visa for nannying. If she comes over on a F1 she needs to be in full-time study, and can only work on campus. If you want to bring her over permanently, your husband can petition her once he is a US citizen.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.
