I my experience I found that YM video isn't as reliable as Skype. YM video kept losing its signal much more frequently than Skype. Maybe some others here might comment on this.

I actually started out chatting with my fiancee using YM - but made the change to Skype.

We use skype and it cuts out at times on the laptop but galaxy tab works great. I am anti IPAD i have the first gen oops.
