I love German Shepherds

I will have to leave my husband and Morocco in a week

and

I am hungry

NONE of the above has to do with each other

When I left my fiancee I gave her a note saying that I am worried about her and that I hired a body guard for her.

Then I gave her a teddy bear. Needless to say I still get brownie points from her :)

Here to you:

Oh yeah I love westerns and Gunsmoke is one of my favourites.

It's so great having TV again so I can study my American history for my civics test. I get a lot of my American history education from TV. :)

...and they say TV isn't educational.

After 8 years of having no TV hookup we just got 250+ channels of Dishnet satellite TV. WOO HOO!!!! Now for some brain numbing, time wasting entertainment.

All this new technology and I'm watching Gunsmoke reruns in black and white.

Wow 8 years no TV! Gunsmoke - I love it. They don't make em like that anymore.

Spookyturtle, I don't know why but I've always enjoyed westerns even though I dislike everything cowboy like boots and hats. I have a lot of westerns in our movie collection and of course the Good, Bad and Ugly is one of those. One of my favourites is McLintock with John Wayne and Maureen O'Harra. Westerns and old comedy classics are my staple movie diet because they are easy to watch. I hate horror or too much suspense. I like "happy happy joy joy" type movies.

Kennard - Oh we've watched a lot of TV in the last 8 years but only movies that we buy and add to our HUGE movie collection  - DVD's and before that videos. Just haven't had any real commercial TV hookup in that time and after watching it the last couple of hours I can see I haven't missed much. So much reality junk.:wow: We did watch a cool show about Area 51 which I found entertaining. :) I love the DVR feature and pausing live TV so I can go away (phone, meals or bathroom breaks etc) and come back and pick up just where I left off. Great feature. I'm never locked into watching when TV dictates it. LOVE IT!! :)

McLintock, Sons of Katie Elder etc are all classics. I love the Clint Eastwood westerns too. The Outlaw Josey Wales is one of my favorites. I also liked Tombstone as a newer western. Val Kilmer did a great job as Doc Holliday.

Outback Annie it seems that you got your TV watching under control :). The Good, The Bad & The Ugly belong to any Western collection. I also like a Fistful of Dollars and Hang Em High.
