Yes, you'r right, I am here to proove it, thought i'll share my USCIS adventure:

Called USCIS so many times until they put in Service Request on March 1st, got this email regarding the SR:

Thank you for your inquiry. We will pull your file for review. You should receive a follow up notice within 30 days indicating the result of our review.

35 days later and no news called uscis again and was transferred to a Immigration officer who said there was nothing wrong with my case bla, bla, bla.... got the same wait answer. Called again and they gave me an email to contact CSC since i didn't get any response to my SR so far...(you are supossed to email only when they don't answer de SR ).

So i sent the email and yesterday i got this back ....

Thank you for your inquiry. Your case was already pulled and is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action* within 45 days.

Will that be true? who knows, In the mean time ..... Patience and good luck to us all

OMG you sent your AOS in on August 19th? I don't feel so bad in our case now. I see the same local office to, although your timeline says you were forwarded also. I hope you get your green card soon. Its pretty crazy that some are getting them in 3 months and others are waiting as long as you have, wow 8 months already :(

I would schedule an appointment with info pass to see what the heck is going on.

my case is exactly 6 months today. i called USCIS and the gentleman i spoke with was trying to do a service request for me but he said the computer gave him an auto-response that CSC is asking for 2 more weeks for my timeline. so we weren't able to file for service request.

He was $75 to transcribe the vaccinations. He had us fax our list, advised us on which she would need boosters on, gave us advice on low cost options to get them, then we went to see him after. He said he could give the vaccines to, but his costs are higher than other options he could direct us to. He was a nice guy and very helpful even before us being to his office and paying him first. He was the best Minnesota price we could find to.

Glad I could help. We called a number of CS and were surprised at how high a price some of them quoted.

A question - I'm so confused right now - my application was transferred to CSC in December - I checked on the status online and it's still pending, looked up the processing time and it was showing CSC as taking 61 months???!! Called the customer service, and they say they're backlogged to February 2007...surely this isn't the case? I checked on it a few weeks back and the processing time was still showing as about 5 months. Is this just an anomaly? How much longer am I going to be waiting? The guy on the phone suggested it might take 5 years?

Be careful about believing the USCIS misinformation line. Best way to get an estimate is watching people's timelines here right now. 5 to 7 months seems to be a best guess. Transfered people are getting green cards in about that time frame.

I think I gave you wrong information. But the USCIS customer service line is still the misinformation line. You're still waiting on a K-1 visa, this is the AOS status update forum. I heard there's some big jumps in processing times, but if they were backed up to February 2007, my wife would still be waiting on the K-1 to. We filed a little over a year ago and she's been here 7 months now. Jump to the K-1 Status reports forum to get an idea where they really are at. Igor's list in the timeline really handy when we were waiting on the K-1 to. Click above on "Immigration Timelines" it shows K-1's in California at about the end of November.

Thanks for the information - you were right the first time, though - I'm waiting on AOS now...I should probably update my timeline to reflect that, I didn't even think of that! Sorry for the confusion. :)
