If you've submitted originals to the NVC, have your mom go for the interview with photocopies just in case. They may/may not ask her for them because the NVC forwards originals received to the embassy. Your mom should ask them for the originals at the conclusion of her interview. Interview questions may include: petitioner's name, date&place of birth, occupation, place of employment, your address in the U.S. They may ask her for old family photographs showing both of you. Good luck.

The consulate should have all original documents forwarded my NVC. Your mom should get original documents such as marriage certificates and birth certificates back during the interview. If you look at the letter sent to you for the interview, the back page has a list of required documents, and the page before that has a code chart stating the status of the documents. If your mom is required to bring any document with her, you can tell from that last page by the code next to the document.

My mom was asked most of the questions stated by Chiommy. They also asked her how many children she had, and where were the children. She said the interview process took about 7 minutes and she was done.
