Hey guys I really need your help on this. My fiance K-1 Visa will be sent to her address within 5-10 days. Now, She's 2 months pregnant and she wants to come to the US before March 23 but I told her it would be convenient to fly her here on a third week of April just to get everything ready before anything else. She kept insisting that she needs to come a little early before she become 6 months pregnant based on what the Consular Officer told her? Is this a fact??? I just need some suggestion from you guys. Because all I know is that for K-1 Visa holder beyond 7 months pregnant coming to the US is not acceptable at all to travel?? I don't know yet just kind of curious. Everyone please help me on this I'm confused..

According to what you wrote if she is two months now, then in April she will only be three months,so both of those time frames are a long way from being six months. Don't understand the issue.

She would only be 4 months pregnant in April, not 6 months?

Some airlines will want to see a doctor's letter "allowing" travel after 32 weeks. Otherwise, there is no immigration/ travel reason she cannot come in March, April or May. Keep in mind there is usually a major anatomical ultrasound where many parents find out the sex of the baby around 18-20 weeks. It might be nice for her to have that in the USA, with you there.

Some airlines will ask for a doctors letter when traveling beyond the seventh month.

All airlines recommend that you consult your doctor before traveling at any point in your pregnancy. Play it safe by getting a "permission-to-travel" letter from your healthcare provider.

Call or go online and see what the airline she will use and look at the polices

Sounds like she's the one who's confused. The Consular Officer probably mentioned that the Visa Validity is at most 6 months so she needs to travel before 6 months from the issue date of her Visa, nothing to do with the pregnancy.

I am 26 weeks pregnant today (almost 7 months) my interview is on March 22 by then i will be exactly 7 months. I already inquire in some airlines they will allow me to board up to 34 weeks for Philippine Airlines and 38 weeks for Hawaiian Airlines as long as i have my OBGyne's medical clearance. I hope before end of April that will be my 33 weeks ill be able to leave Philippines.

Its March right now and she is two months pregnant now, April is next month, cheap math says 2 + 1 = 3
