Like what happened to mine lol.

We just received the hardcopy no email , text and USCIS website update.

After about 7 days they updated my case status to the website and they drop me an email haha

Too late i already had my case number that time lol.

If you have the hardcopy then wait for the case number and pay the visa fee so you can schedule online for your interview and have your medical ;) goodluck!

Sorry my giddiness is preventing me from thinking clearly. I wrote them last Monday. I agree that there is no way to know! Good luck with your petition, it seems that they are finally getting a move on things.
