SITUATION MAKES THING HARDER... BUT THE MORE HARD WE DEAL WITH ... I BELIEVE WE COME MORE CLOSER TO EACH OTHER .... :) WISHING ALL THE BEST TO ALL OF YOU ...

Hi All,

Proposed her in April'11

She came to India and finally we got married on 23rd july 2011, then we went to honeymoon to shimla and kufri(hill stations in india)

After coming from honeymoon very next day we went to golden temple to get the blessings for our future life.

she was here in india for only 1 month but unfortunately my grandmother got heart attack and she postponed her ticket and she took care of my grandmother in the hospital for two months, my all relatives were shocked and surprised that a girl from USA came to india and just after 15 days of her marriage she did so much for my grandmother that i never thought of getting such a nice wife in my dreams also.

She left india after 4 and half months back to USA.

She hired a lawyer there in USA and we filed the for i-130 and we got i-179c on 3rd feb then we filed i-129f and we got the notification on 21st feb for i-129f

There was my cousin's marriage in April but unfortunately my grandmom passed away on 29th march, my wife knew that i will feel alone in the marriage so she came to india just for 19 days and i was so happy.

but now the condition is that i lost my mom when i was just 2 months old and i lost my dad in 2010 and now my grandmom.

And i am here in india and my wife is there in states, and this time is so difficult for me which is not able to express.

I know this very awkward to write such long story, but its getting irritating that there is no further step taken from USCIS.

My case says INITIAL REVIEW.

if you look long enouph... you will see the water boil a lot sooner than you will get the NAO2

Okay I lied I am looking daily (just don't trust the text or phone thing) and Igor's list now is fascinating me. But I so like (I know its just VJ time lines considered. But the timeline dates as far as what they guesstimate is your adjudication time. It's gone down a month. Hey anything is a plus at this point.

So does everyone have their NVC stuff at the ready?

Adding my name to the list of filers. Just hit the 2 month mark.

We originally sent it in February 22 but it was returned because I didn't fill in my birth country. So we sent it back in March 22.

Well first congratulations on your approval. I read earlier you said you submitted I-130 and than I-129F. Well if the I-129F got approved also it will just be closed at NVC.

How long depends on when you get your case number (seems to be taking 4 to 6 weeks) but still call NVC I would say after 2 weeks. Once u get case number (be sure to read Ling's shortcut for NVC) its all in your hands to get DS-3032, AOS,IV bill everything back so they can than send off to embassy. Could be another 2 to 3 months. Maybe you get lucky and get an interview in August.

But honestly until you get your case number its really hard to say.

Do you have all your NVC documents together to send when ready that will help spend up time.

Again good luck rest of way.

Congrats!!

Assume 30 days from NOA2 date until you receive your NVC case number. Although, you should call NVC every day starting a week after the NOA2 date to get your case number and Invoice Identification Number.

If you have everything ready for NVC, it may take as little as 14 days to get an interview appointment. How long from NVC to interview really depends on the consulate. I don't know what kinds of time frames New Dehli are operating with, but normal would be 1 - 2 months.

Your post gives me a lot of hope as I'm also a February filer. :D
