Hi everyone.

I am in US on a student (F1) visa working on EAD (employment authorization document)

I married in June 2011 a US citizen (by naturalization)

I applied for AOS by submitting i-485 + i-130 in January 2012

I had my biometrics appointment on February first week 2012 which went ok.

I have my AOS interview at Newark in last week of March 2012

We have been living together since our marriage.

What all documents should I bring to the interview as evidence of bonafide marriage?

Any help will be appreciated! :help:

You should have list provided in the interview notice.

I took originals for all the copies I had submitted initially and extra photos. I also took additional evidence like apartment lease with both our names, utility bills, wedding album, etc which I did not have when I first mailed the application. The IO was only interested in looking at the additional evidence and wedding album.

Thanks Nina. These are the documents I am planning to carry:

1. Joint apartment lease

2. Joint car insurance card

3. Joint bank account (opened recently)

4. Wedding reception pics

5. Honeymoon pictures

Should I also bring flight itineraries?

Any other documents that you want to suggest?

Here is a list of additional evidence we took:

  • Life Insurance with each other as beneficiary
  • Husband's 401k showing me as beneficiary
  • Joint Tax Return
  • Wedding pictures with each others family present (this was important for us because we are an inter-racial couple)
  • Utility bills with each of our names for the same address

I am not sure if your boarding pass/flight itinerary will help, but it doesnt hurt to take it. Any documents showing co-mingling of assets like a large purchase, such as a car, in both your names is a huge plus.
