In 2010, I married my husband in Bahrain. Our K3 spouse petition was DENIED because I had returned to U.S. before the date of the court stamp on our marriage certificate. Thank you idiot lawyer in Bahrain.

Our U.S. attorney advised us, and we filed a K1 ... showing plenty of proof of our valid relationship (as we have known each other nearly 10 years, were already were married, so on and so forth). USCIS expedited the petition due to our situation .. and my "fiance" had his interview finally today in Riyadh.

He was given a Refusal worksheet requesting proof of monies transferred from him to me. And proof of his 1st marriage divorce by speaking with his Egyptian ex-wife on the phone!!!! Even though we submitted his original divorce decree.

WHAT IS THIS!? We could give them any number and have them talk to any woman!! This is no proof of anything. I will send them western union and bank transcripts that I have received no money from him. But how do they know I don't have another bank account I am not divulging? This is no proof, either!!

We sent in 10 years worth of our relationship, our marriage certificate, photos of us together on honeymoon, and 20 lbs of additional items.

He is has fallen into the abyss of 'administrative processing' which in plain english means 'ha ha'.

My attorney will deal with this matter and we WILL resolve. We will never give up. In the meantime we will continue to suffer.

How are you going to adjust status in the USA when you are already married? they will know you married outside of the USA before you applied for a K-1 when you present your marriage certificate for AOS to get the green card.

USCIS will know that you should not have been issued a K-1 because you were a spouse not a fiance(e).

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

Thank you Inky,

As our K3 was denied, our marriage is not considered 'valid' under U.S. Law. Therefore, they will not identify us as already married.
