How to get back passport if case is being send back

Dear VJ friends, As many of you knows that my fiance case is being send back to USCIS for possible recommendation of revocation, my question is since the embassy kept his passport and his original birth certificate,,, How do I get back those? Your advise and input is highly appreciated.

I think that it should be no issue for you to get them back. On their website: http://islamabad.use...-inquiries.html you can send them a web based email and where it asks for the Topic, one of the selections is "I want my original documents back" and then tell them exactly what it is that you want. I am sure they will respond and get those back to you with out too much trouble - InshALLAH.

you may simple write to them explaining about the situation...or call them

Kim we have send them so many emails from there and got no reply,,,and besides I think our case is on its way back to uscis,,,

SM Mohsin tried to call them so many times but got no one to talk to,,,I will be going to Pakistan soon to get married and then I will file cr1 and thats y we want those documents back. Thanx for ur advise.

@Mohsin786 so sorry to hear about your situation.

Hope you can get your documents back - i have seen many times on VJ that the ISL embassy responds to emails more than it does to phone calls. I suggest that route.

Good luck with your wedding and then your IR1/CR1 case.

Interview June 6th 2013 - APPROVED - case upgraded to IR1 at time of interview based on time married

Visa in hand June 10th 2013

IV fee paid using ELIS June 17th 2013

POE Houston July 15th 2013

GC arrived in mail Aug 12th 2013

SSN card arrived in mail Aug 19 2013 (1 week after applying)
