Is there a kinda average time that a i-129f should receive a 2nd touch ? I had first touch 02/11/12 and have sen on many timelines another touch approximately 19-23 days after.

Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with this ? Thanks.

I-129f sent 01/31/12

Received in Dallas sent to Vermont 02/03/12

NOA1 notice date 02/03/12

Touched 02/11/12

NOA 2 07/25/12

NVC Receive 08/01/12

NVC left 08/03/12

Consulate received 08/06/12

Medical 08/08/12

sent packet 3 docs 08/10/12 (yes i have sent before packet 3 letter received, called embassy who confirmed they have me in system as of today)

Interview scheduled 09/13/12

APPROVED!

POE 09/26/12

Wedding booked for 10/08/12

Some people never get a touch - we didn't. It generally doesn't mean anything - maybe they moved your file from one pile to another. I wouldn't worry about it.

my case was "touched" 2 days after my NOA1... then again over 4 months later on the day i got my NOA2... and then again 4 days after that.

I-129F SENT............................................08/15/2011

NOA1 TEXT/EMAIL...................................08/22/2011

NOA2 TEXT/EMAIL. NO RFE.....................01/05/2012

NVC RECEIVED......................................01/21/2012

NVC LEFT...............................................01/24/2012

PACKET 3 RECEIVED..............................02/01/2012

PACKET 3 RETURNED.............................02/04/2012

MEDICAL................................................02/17/2012

DS-2001 MAILED.....................................02/23/2012

PACKET 4 RECEIVED..............................03/02/2012

INTERVIEW............................................03/14/2012 APPROVED

POE ATLANTA.........................................04/03/2012

AOS approved 3/29/13 after almost 10 months of waiting. No RFE's and no interview.

Everyone experiences two touches, at least; first touch when the receive it, second touch when the approve it.

Sure it was, it was touched in September and again in January, you even posted the dates in your signature.

That was a touch? The dates on my sig are when we got the notifications and such blush.gif ....

Some touches are not as cool as the NOA1 and NOA2.... the dreaded RFE touch for example.

Depends on when they spill coffee on it again and have to move it to a new box. Really, that's all a touch means, absolutely nothing.

Our last touch was Nov 3rd which was a few days after NOA1. Nothing since but I am sure it is sitting on someone's desk right now collecting dust :unsure:

I should have included some type of gift inside our file for the adjudicator as motivation :lol:

11/01/2011 - NOA1 (6 days after mailing)

03/22/2012 - NOA2 (142 days after NOA1)

04/20/2012 - Received Interview Date (June 4th)

05/22/2012 - Medisys Medical(Done!)

06/04/2012 - Interview in MTL (APPROVED!)
