I received the notice for our interview. My husband has filed on my behalf. It's crazy because we just filed about a month ago. I have not received any case update text or email and have not gotten an EAD. We did not receive any RFE. This seems so abnormal, and we are freaking out. My biometrics appointment was only 4 days before the notice for interview was received (Tampa, FL office). No EAD card? Really?

2003/4 School Year: Met hubby while we were in college...became great friends
2005: My college graduation
2011: Began dating
1/13/12: Got Married to the world's best hubby
2/2/12: Mailed I-130, I-485, I-765 to Chicago Lockbox
2/3/12: Package received and signed for by USCIS
2/13/12: Received NOA1 for all 3 petitions
2/16/12: Got driver's license reinstated
2/17/12: Received notice for biometrics appointment
3/1/12: Biometrics appointment successful
3/5/12: Received notification of appointment for interview scheduled for April 4, 2012
3/28/12: Received notification that production has been ordered for my EAD
4/4/12: AOS interview with my hubby; approved on the spot! Thank you Jesus!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING TO GREEN CARD APPROVAL: 2 months and 2 days.....Didn't even get EAD; no need for it with green card!

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS:

3/11/14: Shipped I-751 package to Vermont Service Center

3/12/14: Received at VSC and signed for by L ZUCHOWSKI.

3/17/14: Payment shows on our bank account for the check written.

4/4/14: Early biometrics successful!

9/25/14: Case update: APPROVAL NOTICE!!!

10/4/14:10 year green card arrived in the mail!!! Yay!

TOTAL TIME FROM FILING I-751 TO APPROVAL: 6 months and 14 days....No RFE or interview! Thankful to God that this is behind us!

I did my AOS through Tampa and it was all complete in 87 days with card in hand, no RFE's, no EAD, the IO was great, feel free to read my review on Tampa.

No need to freak out. Most people wait for months so you are lucky that you got an early interview date. Once you get your GC you won't need EAD so don't worry if it never comes. Good luck!

i sent my applications december 20, had my interview in Tampa march 1st. got my EAD 2 days before the interview. it was also shocking and kind of scary for me (that it was so fast) but everything went very well!

12/20/2011 1.56 PM Package containing I-130, I-485, I-765, I-693, I-864 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

12/21/2011 1.55 PM item was delivered at 1:55 pm on December 21, 2011 in CHICAGO, IL 60680 to INS 805887 . The item was signed for by R MERCARDO.

12/27/2011 5.50 PM E-mail/text USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received.

1/2/2012 NOA's for I-130, I-485, I-765 received.

1/3/2012 Biometrics appointment letter for 1/17/2012 received.

1/17/2012 12.00 PM Biometrics done in Tampa ASC.

1/30/2012 8.00 PM E-mail/text I-485 case update (Testing and Interview)

1/31/2012 Interview letter received (for 3/1/2012)

2/17/2012 EAD production notice received.

2/28/2012 EAD card received in mail.

3/1/2012 Interview in Tampa. Approved on spot.

3/9/2012 Welcome letter; GC in hand.

My wife got her green card before her EAD and AP. What is the problem exactly? You do not like fast service? If you get the green card you do not need the EAD
