No. You just need to sign them yourself and date them. Thats what we did.

No, you are good to go without notarizing it.

If you have to sign anything, it is recommended to notarized your signature, it adds a value to it.

Recommended by who? USCIS does not mention that anywhere, nor anything I have read on USEM.

Recommended by who? USCIS does not mention that anywhere, nor anything I have read on USEM.

It is commonly known that if I am submitting a affidavits for someone or to a government, I should have my signature notarized.

It is verification by third party (who is authorized by Federal/state authority) that I am the person who is signing the documents.

I also have to send "my explanation" how we met and how we decided to get married, and also "evolution of relationship letter".

I have signed both of them and both of them were notarized by my bank.

It is recommended but as always "Choice is yours".
