we didn't include any of those and i was thinking that is the reason its taking long to be approved. Do they ask for additional information if they require more evidence? i am grateful for ur quick respond. Thank u.

All I can tell you is that we were approved with just our marriage certificate and those three affidavits. I don't know what would have happened if we had not sent any affidavits but I guess they would send an RFE. I don't think that is why it is taking so long. Once they pick up your file they will then act pretty quickly whether it be to approve or send an RFE. At the moment your case is probably just sitting in a pile waiting to be adjudicated. I would guess it won't be much longer now. Maybe you could be getting some things together just in case you do get an RFE.

It all depends on the person who is processing your I-130. I've read of many cases that were approved with just the marriage certificate, nothing else was sent. Others, have said that they received an RFE requesting for evidence. If that's the case, then just have it handy so you can send it to them as soon as you get it.
