Does the us embassy has electronical access to another country's passport office data?

Hey guys, i just wanted to know whether the US embabassy in Ghana or any other country has the access to marriage registry and or Passport information or from the Passport office data like the applicant's parents names and their date of births.

In other worse, does the US embassy has access to ghana immigrations data and marriage data to be able to check instantly or electronically?

The reason why i am asking this question is ,when my fiance applied for her passport ,it seems the the Passport office mistakenly states that she is married instead of single.Even though that is not visible in the passport, can the Ghana embassy be able to identify that error?

While it is correct, the Consular staff would not have electronic access in real time, they may well check the records in preparation for the interview. If a government record, for any government is incorrect, do you best to correct it as soon as possible.
