Said called at 4:44am my time (9:44 Casa time) - all went very well! The interview was good, a success! (L) I will post more details later after he's had some sleep. He got a dark haired american woman who was very nice, interview lasted about 5 min he said. She looked at the whole photo album he brought but I don't think she looked at the other stuff. He was asked:

How did you meet?

When did you meet?

Who's in the photos?

Did you meet her parents?

He showed her pics of when he was here, when I was there, w/ family, w/ friends, our engagement (she was confused, thought it was a wedding, he said no, no, that was our engagement).

They spoke in English. He still had a valid work visa to come here, she took it and stamped in invalid "w/ no prejudice" and said don't worry, they will call him to bring his passport Monday or Tuesday b/c embassy will be closed tomorrow. I'm not holding my breath on the Mon/Tues thing, but inch'allah, they will call soon. He was issued the standard 221G paper stating security checks in Washington, DC.... yada, yada, yada.

I have faith in Allah that he *will* get called soon for his passport. We shall see....

Thank you all so much for your support and good wishes, prayers, and the slumber party in chat last nite! :P I'll post more details after he wakes up again - he went home to sleep as he'd only slept abt 2 hrs before the interview... guess he was a little nervous! :blush:

March 25-April 14, 2006 Noura's 2nd trip to Morocco - formal engagement w/ family

April 24, 2006- mailed in K1 Visa package - TSC

Oct 5, 2006 - Interview SUCCESS

Oct 12, 2006 - Called to pick up visa tomorrow!

Oct. 16, 2006 VISA IN HAND!

Dec. 24, 2006 - Said arrives in NOLA, just in time for the holidaze!

Dec. 31, 2006 - OUR WEDDING!!! Ringing in a New Year as husband & wife!

Jan 8, 2007 - applied for SSN

Jan 15, 2007 - recieved SSN

Feb 6, 2007 - checks cashed for AOS/EAD/AP - YAY!

Feb 8, 2007 - NOA1 on AOS/EAD/AP

Feb 14, 07 - touched EAD/AP

March 8, 07 - Biometrics appt in NOLA

April 17, 07 - AP approved

April 19, 07 - EAD approved

Nov 27, 2007 Three year Annivrsary. Two more and I can apply for a Jordanian Passport, and then we're going to Cuba (Just because I can). can't wait...

08/08/2009........Our son was born <3

08/08/2009........Filed for removal of conditions.

12/16/2009........ROC was approved.

11/05/2010........Eligible for Naturalization.

03/01/2011........Separated.

11/05/2012........Eligible for Naturalization.
