Hi,

I had a question about PCC submission. My fiancé had her interview on March 2, 2012 and everything went on great until she showed her PCC from local police station, they rejected it and asked for one from the Passport Office. She immediately flew to Kolkata and got her PCC from Passport office on Monday. Now she is flying back to Mumbai to submit it. That was all that the consulate officer wanted from her in the 221g. CO had said that once she gets her PCC she can submit it via VFS along with her passport, they will mail her the Visa and her passport. However, they didn't give a certain time period before this would happen. I would like to know if anyone of you have been through this process and have had similar experiences. How long after submission of PCC at VFS did you get the Visa? She will be picking the Visa in person if they issue it before Friday, if not she will have it couriered. Any replies would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ron

Seems strange that they are taking longer time to review PCC doc in Mumbai Consulate, otherwise Mumbai Consulate is pretty fast to review and make the decision for submitted doc within a week. Please contact to vfs e-mail id for immigrant visa. Hope some help can be done there.
