I uneasily have this inkling: There's a 49%-to-51% chance that, if 0bama thinks that he can't win outright or can't steal the election, he'll declare a national emergency and postpone the election "indefinitely." Anyone think the same, even fleetingly?

He doesn't have that much power. He is weak. He will use his office to help him win but he can't get the military to join in. The only thing now is if the unemployment rate drops to near 7% then he will win. Unemployment goes back up to 9% or over and he is done.

Unemployment and high gas prices will take him out. Besides, he's had more than 3 years to piss off lots of people. Many of the dummies that got on the historical band wagon of electing the first non white pres have been thrown under the bus. He's lost many of those folks -- they have buyers remorse.
