* Also, my mom will be my co-sponsor would I add her form that she filled out in the I-130 cover letter and packet as well? ( and i lost the name of that form what is it called?)

* Also, do you know how to write the Affidavit of support? Can I ask my friends and family to write them?

* For my birth certificate I was reading that I can send a certified copy of my birth certificate or I can get a certified copy, can I just copy mine? or does it have to be certified? I heard they expire as well?

* Name change, what papers do I need to go to the SSC office to change my name?

Please and thank you.

Your mom will be acting as a joint sponsor (joint sponsor is the proper term in these cases). To answer your question, you would not include the form she filled out (I-864) with the package as it is not required at this point. It is sent to the NVC when you submit your I-864 and accompanying documents. You won't be dealing with the NVC until after they receive an approved petition from USCIS.

* Also, do you know how to write the Affidavit of support? Can I ask my friends and family to write them?

The Affidavit of Support is what the I-864 is. If you want family and friends to write statements attesting to the legitimacy of your marriage, they would simply be writing "affidavits" (such affidavits are not required for filing a petition, they are only a suggestion).

* For my birth certificate I was reading that I can send a certified copy of my birth certificate or I can get a certified copy, can I just copy mine? or does it have to be certified? I heard they expire as well?

If you are submitting a copy of all pages of your passport, then you do not need to submit your birth certificate. Birth certificate or copy of all passport pages establishes the petitioner is a US Citizen.

Hello,

I would only add that you could enclose copies of your passport stamps going to and from D.R to visit your S.O as proof of on-going relationship. Also, I think 34 pics is overkill. 6 to 8 would be fine. I also went through D.R, I sent two photos from wedding, one with her father, one with her mother, two with her daughter, and two out and about. Also, could you please update your timeline.

Matt
