I was hesitant because in the first place my situation does not fall under any of the circumstance of an emergency advance parole. And I was thinking I might just aggravate the situation and my application. I don't want to also risk raising a red flag on my case. One other thing, I could not pull through a pissy mood at the time I was there.

But I just received some good news that the AP has been approved!!! :dance::dance::dance:

They just mailed the notice today!! Thanks God!!

And thanks to all of you guys for all the help! Special mention to Leatherneck for pushing me to make that visit to DHS and for the rest of your guys for giving me your precious time, comments, prayers!!

Oh sorry! :lol: Additional thanks to Darnell for mentioning it first! :yes:

Now I have two other questions. The card is in production. Am I right to think that I should not wait for the card and just make use of the notice?? Should that suffice?

We are also looking into entering the country through a different state other than the one we mentioned in the K2 processing. Will this create issues with Border Patrol? What is the best thing to do?

I say jump on the plane on the date printed on the ticket, use what you have from the day before.
