Ok, I'm done. I think I have everything possible they can ask for. I bought a big bag to put everything, if I look funny tomorrow with my big bag, i dont care! lol

So I think for the evening im gonna relax :)

Congratulations on your interview date!

Haha, no you will not go to the NBC-- your hardcopy interview letter will have the place and address of where you will attend your interview and it will be at your local USCIS Field Office.

I just checked my I-485 status on their website, and I finally got our interview informationkicking.gifkicking.gif

Chris, you are totally right! I did not have to wait until the beginning of July to get my interview info!

My husband is working right now, so I do not have anyone to share this big step with lol

Oh, I just come up with a question. Our interview is at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER, which means do we have to go to the NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER in MO?

Testing and Interview

On June 20, 2012, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for July 26, 2012, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. Please follow the instructions on the notice. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

Finally! :rofl: Now, breathe a sigh of relief and go about getting your stuff in place. Happy prepping for the interview!

Thank you, yes I have copies of everything, 2 binders.. One for originals and other for photocopies

Just checked my list and you seem to have got most of it right. Do not take clumsy and unwieldy photo albums with you, just take some 10-15 pictures of everything put together and you should be fine.

I dont really know what to wear.... its getting pretty hot here. I guess some pants and a blouse (like a working day thing) .....

Can I bring mobile phone ?

Hubby and I both had out phones but we completely turned them off prior to entering building to avoid accidentally rings or texts during waiting or interview

Looks like the USCIS is working overtime tonight, just received the GC mailed & the USPS has picked up your GC emails.

My GC is finally on its way, hopefully it will arrive in 2-3 days like my EAD! So fingers crossed it will be here Friday or Saturday and then I can make another trip to the SSA and then finally get my DL next week!

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 40: 04/05/12: Mailed off the RFE.

They do definitely seem to work late hours, some email notifications I got came at around 8.30 pm EST, so no surprises yours came in when they did.

Congratulations, your card should be there within a day or two. Savor the moment when it is actually in your hands! :star:

AOS applied March 21, 2012. GC approved June 11, 2012 & received June 18, 2012.

Exactly three months from start to finish,no RFEs.

Day 02,March 22, 2012: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Day 04,March 24, 2012: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received through e-mail

Day 07,March 27, 2012: Checks cashed.

Day 13,April 02, 2012 : NOAs received for I-130,I-485,EAD/AP & Biometrics

Day 36,April 25, 2012 : Biometrics Completed at Elizabeth, NJ.

Day 45,May 04, 2012 : E-mail notification for interview received for June 11

Day 46,May 05, 2012 : Received hard copy of interview notice

Day 56,May 16, 2012 : EAD/AP Production e-mail

Day 64,May 24, 2012 : EAD/AP Card in hand

Day 83,June 11,2012 : Interview. Approved same day. Card production email.

Day 84,June 12,2012 : E-mail Notification registering PR status.

Day 87,June 15,2012 : USPS picks up GC from USCIS.

Day 88,June 16,2012 : Received two hard copy mails, approving I-130 & I-485

Day 90,June 18,2012 : 10-year GC in hand. End of GC journey, for now.
