Oh easy enough... apply for renewal or a new card?

I believe it's not so much as a renewal but a replacement card but if I were you to clear any doubt you can go to the social security page online and they will tell you exactly wat you need to do if you change your name or other things. Also you could call your local ss office but check out the website first.

Hi all, congrats to everyone in this group that have had their interviews and approvals, also to those still waiting for an official approval and to those without interview dates yet... I pray we all get there!

Here is a list of what I've so far prepared for my interview.

- Petitioner's Birth certificate (Wife). *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Petitioner's SS card in her married name. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Petitioner's state ID with our address on it in her married name. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Jointly filed 2011 tax return.

- Accidental insurance plan with me as the beneficiary. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Renters insurance with both of our names on it. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Pictures of us together, including her both young boys and some of her friends. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Sam's club membership with both our cards and address. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Joint checking & Savings account. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Lease with both of names as renters signed by landlord. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Several rent receipts with both of names on it from landlord.

- Charter bill with both of our names. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

*Note: Our utilities are all included in our monthly rent except cable that's why we have just the charter.

- My birth certificate (beneficiary). *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- My passport, F1 entry stamp and I-94. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- My SS card & EAD.

Still trying to see what else I can come up with. What do you any of you think? Any input will be appreciated! Thank you guys!!!

Looks good to me so far. But what about your marriage certificate? I sent a copy of mine along with the AOS, still the interviewing officer asked to see the original during the interview.

By the Grace of GOD, we were approved for our GC / I-485 yesterday afternoon (with a Card in production email received less than an hour later). UPDATE: USPS picked up mail containing GC yesterday. Today, received two hardcopy mails, one for husband for I-130 approval and the second, my 'Welcome to the United States' mail for I-485 approval. As expected,mine will be a 10-year, unconditional GC.
