My interview is 11 days away! Ugh sooo scared! I wasn't able to recovery that many pictures and I still have no word on the I-102 for the replacement I-94! I don't know what we are gonna do without this! Everyone please pray for us to get this back asap

We filed the I-102 at the VSC on jan 27th 2012 and have gotten nothing back

Regarding your I-94, all you can do is show bring your NOA showing that you filed Form I-102. On a positive note, the IO will have a record of all your US entry and exits which will show that you entered legally, you should also have stamps in your passport to back up this information.

As for pictures-- I didn't bring a single one to my interview. So whatever pictures that you do bring, will be more than I produced, so I wouldn't worry about it

Just relax, most of the interview experiences that I have read, including mine, turned out to be very anti-climatic and much more of a formality than any real pressing or interrogating questions. Just have the basics memorized (family members, DoB, cell numbers, school/education, career/employer, date of marriage, how you met) and if you manage that, you likely won't have much else to answer except for the yes/no questions.

Nope, you are not the last of the March filers, there are still five others who have yet to even have their interview notice and are currently waiting without an interview date.

As I said to Srarious, just relax-- most of the interviews tend to be anti-climatic and for the most part, as long you have the required documentation, can answer the basic questions and don't slip up and say "yes" to being a member of the communist party in the "yes/no" section of questioning then you will be fine.

It will all be over before you know it

Quick question (stupid of course) but will the SSN remain the same number after one gets a green card? And I am assuming one must go through some conditions removing process.

Yes your SSN will remain the same, however your new social security card will not have the designation "Valid for work only with DHS authorization". Instead it will just show your name and SSN. The number is yours for life.

There is no conditions removing process for the SSN, just head back to your local SSA Office and apply for a new one and then wait for it to arrive in the mail just like before.

I haven't really looked, however my guess would be that you are applying for a new card based upon the logic that a SSN (and the card) never expires and thus cannot be *renewed*-- you cannot renew something that doesn't expire.

I think you will just complete a new SS-2 and tell them that you need to update the information that they have on file.

what happened with ur I-94??????

my husband came here when he was a minor. it was damaged. his mom washed it along with the passport. all we have are copies of the passport and stamps but not the i-94.

Hi all, congrats to everyone in this group that have had their interviews and approvals, also to those still waiting for an official approval and to those without interview dates yet... I pray we all get there!

Here is a list of what I've so far prepared for my interview.

- Petitioner's Birth certificate (Wife). *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Petitioner's SS card in her married name. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Petitioner's state ID with our address on it in her married name. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Jointly filed 2011 tax return.

- Accidental insurance plan with me as the beneficiary. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Renters insurance with both of our names on it. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Pictures of us together, including her both young boys and some of her friends. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Sam's club membership with both our cards and address. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Joint checking & Savings account. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Lease with both of names as renters signed by landlord. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- Several rent receipts with both of names on it from landlord.

- Charter bill with both of our names. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

*Note: Our utilities are all included in our monthly rent except cable that's why we have just the charter.

- My birth certificate (beneficiary). *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- My passport, F1 entry stamp and I-94. *(Sent this with the AOS application already).

- My SS card & EAD.

Still trying to see what else I can come up with. What do you any of you think? Any input will be appreciated! Thank you guys!!!

Wow I came to the states when I was 4 I am now 22 and ever since I can remember my mom stressed just how important the i94 was and we kept it hidden in a pile of documents so it wouldn't get ruined I'm glad to say mine was in perfect condition. As to you case I would bring the noa you recieved stating you requested a new one. Good luck and relax

Omg Chris I was thinking about that before my interview don't say yes to any of the yes/no communist questions lol
