I just checked my status on USCIS website, and it sent my EAD to me. I am looking forward to start workingtongue.gif

Hopefully, I will get my EAD and soon.

Card/ Document Production

On June 11, 2012, we mailed the new card directly to the address we have on file. You should receive your new card within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Congrats.

You should receive within about 7-10 days. Happy job hunting!

UPDATE: Online status changed to Card Production/Documentation!! Also received USCIS confirmation email. Yaay! :luv:

Great news.

12/24/2010 I proposed. She accepted and stayed.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

Congrats!!!!!

I also want to write a quick review on the SSN process in Brooklyn. The line was HUGE... it took about 1 and half hours to get through security. Once that was done and I received a number it was 30 min. The lady was very nice, she was Latino, didn't ask any questions except if this was my first time applying. Took my EAD and my passport and did her work on the computer for a while. 5 minutes later, big smile on her face, gave me the letter with the 2 weeks info and says technically should arrive in 7-10 days but no later than 2 weeks.

This is all very exciting :) How does one live with a GC without all this excitement ? :P

So my appt was the 5th which was on Tuesday but after the appt we went to visit our families and we just got back today and when I went to check my mail I had 2 letters one for me and for hubby (USC) saying I was officially approved so now we have 2 hard copies and my gc was mailed today so I'm very excited! :dance: congrats to the both of you who got approved ?? way to go!!!

Haven't been on in awhile! I've been sick but congrats everyone! I'm sooooooo happy for u all

Here's my next question. So let's say we're all done with this phase soon, green cards in hand. What's next? The 2-year mark, presumably? Where do we go now, to learn about that next step in the "visa journey"? The "Removing Conditions on Residency General Discussion" forum?

12/24/2010 I proposed. She accepted and stayed.

02/25/2011 Married!

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions
