or anyone can clarify this for me...

what exactly is that form

we did not file or use that form only 1485,i131,i765,i485

im beginning to worry

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

May 03rd - notified of interview (06/13/2012)

May 06th - received interview letter in mail

May 11th - received notification of EAD card in production

May 19th - EAD in hand

May 23rd - Applied for SSC

May 29th - Received social security card in mail (card in hand)

June 13th - Interview (approved on the spot)

June 13th - got notification of approval

June 18th - Card in production (also received welcome letter in mail)

June 21st - Green Card in hand

End of this journey....

happylove, i864 is "affidavit of support". Did you not follow the guide here: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2 ? I'm pretty sure it's required. (Also, you just mentioned 1485 twice)

03/19/2012 FINALLY submitted the AOS paperwork: I-130, I-485, I-765, etc.

03/23/2012 Received notification that USCIS has received everything.

03/26/2012 Biometrics Appointment Notice: April 23, 2012.

04/02/2012 NOA's received. Now we wait...

04/23/2012 Biometrics completed.

05/18/2012 EAD card mailed but not yet received.

06/06/2012 Rough interview but we think we're approved! Website says i485 status "Card Production".

06/12/2012 We received the "Welcome the United States" letters! Website says Green Card was mailed.

LIMBO: Green card lost in mail. Facing the possibility of paying hundreds in fees and basically repeating the entire process.

All good now! USPS lost it, then found it.

04/24/14 Back to VJ to get help with I-751, Removal of Conditions.

05/31/14 Mailed I-751 finally, with less than a week to deadline!

06/02/14 NOA1 (that was fast!)

07/01/14 Biometrics

7/25/14 Approved for Removal of Conditions

Happylove13, as Ataribaby said, I 864 is the Affidavit of Support that is filed as part of the I-485. You cannot have not filed that form.If you had, then your application would have been either rejected or you would have received an RFE. All AOS applicants are required to file I-130 and I-485. In addition, if you want, you can also file the I-765 for EAD and I-131 for AP. Also, a I-693, medical examination report should have gone along with the I-485 package. Hope this helps.

Arrived on F1 visa on 25 Dec 2008. Graduated June 2011. Started OPT Sep 2011.

AOS applied March 21, 2012. GC approved June 11, 2012 & received June 18, 2012.

Exactly three months from start to finish,no RFEs.

AOS Timeline:

Day 01,March 21, 2012: Concurrent filing of I-130/AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago Lockbox

Day 02,March 22, 2012: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Day 04,March 24, 2012: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received through e-mail

Day 07,March 27, 2012: Checks cashed.

Day 13,April 02, 2012 : NOAs received for I-130,I-485,EAD/AP & Biometrics

Day 36,April 25, 2012 : Biometrics Completed at Elizabeth, NJ.

Day 45,May 04, 2012 : E-mail notification for interview received for June 11

Day 46,May 05, 2012 : Received hard copy of interview notice

Day 56,May 16, 2012 : EAD/AP Production e-mail

Day 64,May 24, 2012 : EAD/AP Card in hand

Day 83,June 11,2012 : Interview. Approved same day. Card production email.

Day 84,June 12,2012 : E-mail Notification registering PR status.

Day 87,June 15,2012 : USPS picks up GC from USCIS.

Day 88,June 16,2012 : Received two hard copy mails, approving I-130 & I-485

Day 90,June 18,2012 : 10-year GC in hand. End of GC journey, for now.

You probably included it with your I-485, just like you would have included the I-693.

I'm sure if you forgot the I-864, you would have gotten and RFE, and not have an interview scheduled. :thumbs:

5/21/2012 - Email/text notifications received at 4:50 p.m.

5/26/2012 - NOA hard copies received for I-130, I-485 and I-765

6/19/2012 - Biometrics completed.

7/02/2012 - Text/email/hard copy notification of interview.

7/30/2012 - EAD card production ordered.

8/02/2012 - Interview @ 2:00

8/02/2012 - Email notification of GC production at 5:30pm

8/07/2012 - Second GC production email

8/07/2012 - EAD received.

8/08/2012 - GC mailed.

8/09/2012 - Welcome letter and I-130 approval letter received.

8/10/2012 - Green card received. :)

yes i did do i693

and also i have received my EAD already and SSC

i am sure it was submitted after reading all ur replies.

my husband did most of everything i signed where needed to be signed etc

March 19th - received NOA

April 13th - Biometrics

Also, MikeX, in another thread, someone mentions that immigrate2us.net is the place to go for troubled immigration proceedings. Not to say yours should be labeled as troubled just yet, but it might be educational to pop over there and say hello and do a little research!

uscisb1, I noticed your sig says "SSN application sent by mail". The SSN application form states "NOTE: If you are age 12 or older and have never received a Social Security number, you must apply in person." Did you perhaps already have a number?
