Our interview is coming up in a few days. Can you check if what we have is sufficient enough? Thanks!

-401K - me as beneficiary

-2 joint bank accounts- Do I need to include the transaction history or the first page is fine?

-2 credit cards statementsz

-Old lease copy -with both our names. Now we live with his family. Mom owns the house. We moved a month after wedding.

-Cellphone bill - Do I need to include the call history record?

-cable bill

-receipt for our new purchases- bed, mattess, fridge

-hotel receipt- our vacation

-tons of pictures- wedding and special occassion pics.

The rest of the utility bills are under his mom's name since they've been living here for 10 yrs.

Can't add me yet on car insurancec since I dont have my license yet.

EAD/AP card production email received.... OMG this is a news worthy of a happy dance. It is soooo weird though, as yesterday I could not sleep because I was thinking for some strange reason about the process!!! Super excited.... good luck to everyone else waiting for EAD/AP...soon

Hi JDH. Those are all under both our names except for the cable bill. I called Verizon Fios several times and they said that both our names are in the system and promised that I should see it on the NEXT Billing Statement. 3 months had passed, called them each month and still only just under my husband's name. :(

Hi! I hope everyone is ok :) . I have a question about the stuff i need to take with me the day of the interview.

In the notification for the interview it says:

Federal Income Tax returns and W-2'S OR certified IRS printouts for the most recent tax year.

My husband files taxes from TURBOTAX and he has pdf files. Is it ok that he print those pdf files that turbotax gives him and take that to the interview?????

Does he have the w-2's that go with them? If not, I'd just request the transcripts from the IRS. It's free and comes within a few days.

Good morning everyone!!!

I am approved!!!! Getting my temp gc in 7-10 days!!

We got there at 7:30 (appt was at 8:30) so we waited in car for 20min laughing and going through my scrapbook. We approached bldg and security looked at my notice and ids and let us in. We went thru metal detector and cleared and was told to drop my notice down the chute labeled interview notices. We waited about 15min and got called in by a mid 50s man. We went inside got sworn in and he asked for our Ids (Ssn Id EAD) then he verified info on my form (names etc) then he aske for joint info. And he looked at all 3 of my albums while I got the other papers he kept the lease life insurance bank acct and military paperwork. Didn't keep any pics and didn't ask ANY personal questions then he made some small talk and then explained the temporary 2yr green card we signed and was out the door by 8:30am :-)

They didn't even ask bout my name change! :-)

Such a relief! Now visiting our families for a week and hopefully my gc will be waitin wen I get back!

We r at the nj DMV and these ppl suck! First thing they said before checking my husbands documents was ....We need to check with ice for your status! I was like what are I talking bout we have the EAD and the stupid letter if came with! Any who after speaking with a manager, he is now taking the written test! Hopefully can take the driving soon after!

Out of 27 March filers we have had 9 approved & 2 with approvals pending so far. W are down to our final 16 people before this thread ultimately runs it course.

Good morning everyone!!!

I am approved!!!! Getting my temp gc in 7-10 days!!

We got there at 7:30 (appt was at 8:30) so we waited in car for 20min laughing and going through my scrapbook. We approached bldg and security looked at my notice and ids and let us in. We went thru metal detector and cleared and was told to drop my notice down the chute labeled interview notices. We waited about 15min and got called in by a mid 50s man. We went inside got sworn in and he asked for our Ids (Ssn Id EAD) then he verified info on my form (names etc) then he aske for joint info. And he looked at all 3 of my albums while I got the other papers he kept the lease life insurance bank acct and military paperwork. I'm happy for you congrats, I'm sure your celebrating.. Mines is July 3, I hope mines is as easy as yours :-)... Anyways congrats
