-Dec 2006: Arrived with an F1 visa

-Dec 2007: Met USC.

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.

-Feb 2012: Filed I-130/AOS

I-130/AOS Timeline

Day 0: 02/25/12: Mailed concurrent I-130/AOS Package to the Chicago Lockbox

Day 2: 02/27/12: Package arrived at the Chicago Lockbox.

Day 5: 03/01/12: Email acceptance confirmation received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765.

Day 13: 03/09/12: NOA1s received for Forms: I-130, I-485 & I-765. Biometrics letter also received and scheduled for March 27th.

Day 24: 03/20/12: Email notification for RFE.

Day 27: 03/23/12: Hardcopy RFE received in the mail.

Day 31: 03/27/12: Biometrics completed.

Day 40: 04/05/12: Mailed off the RFE.

Day 44: 04/09/12: RFE Delivered.

When did you file? Did you get an RFE, if so how long did it take you to respond?

If you wouldn't mind, could you update your time in your signature, it would help :)

FWIW, there has been four people who filed early February who are still waiting on their interviews date.

No RFE, I filed on March 14,2012... I got my ead card approved in 54 days and 58 day I received it... But I saw lots of people getting their interview... Just wondering ... I try to update my timeline but it's not updating

Thanks for asking!

My local USCIS office is located in Nebraska.

I have not gotten EAD yet.

No RFE and I called USCIS once. She told me that I have to wait 15 more days, and if I do not get anything in 15 days, I have to call them again...

I want to have all in order and nice and easy to find! So I want to know how did you guys arrange all of that, in what kind of file did u put it? pictures in an album? how many? did u carry a bag to put all of it?

I too would like to know bc im organizing my files today as well. I have a big folder that has tabs almost like a filing cabinet but it a big folder. I'm making a tab with original birth certificates/translations, taxes, and a section for hubby's military files . I'll let u know when I'm finished I'm also bringing my scrapbook and my shutterfly photobook with professional wedding pics and wedding cards to us

Day 18: 03/24/12 Biometric appt letter receieved for 4/16/12

Day 41: 04/16/12 Biometric appt

Day 42: 04/17/12 Called USCIS to fix Name problem at biometric appt

Day 56: 05/01/12 Status updated on website EAD in production

Day 57: 05/02/12 Status updated on website Interview appt 06/05

Day 62: 05/07/12 EAD MAILED!!!

Day 65: 05/10/12 EAD IN HAND!!!

Day 69: 05/14/12 Applied for SSN

Day 74: 05/19/12 SS Card IN HAND!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 Interview @ 8:30am: APPROVED ON THE SPOT!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 around 6 pm received text that updated aproved status on USCIS website

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't ask to see any of the documents we brought, either, other than to make a copy of my wife's ID, and approved on the spot. Welcome letter is supposed to arrive in 5-10 days!

Yes! Thanks! Today I put in order all the cards i got for our wedding and some others that i got for when my husband's mom made a bridal shower for me before the wedding.

Can u show me what kind of filing cabinet is it? I have one that looks like briefcase and has tabs....

The only document that I have with translation is my birth certificate, what else do you have with translation?

Do u already have ur SSN and driving license?
