Gongratz to all who got approved and goodluck to those in line for interview!I have a question.

My EAD is under my married name and my SSN is still under my maiden name. Is this ok when I go get my driver's license? I do not want to change my SS until my interview which is only 3 weeks away (saving time going back and forth) but I want to get my driver's license asap.

Any advise? Thanks!

Um not too sure from my knowledge all your documents have to match in order to make a legal name change your

Ssn would have to be the name u want it to be legall like your married named. I'm in Florida though and I know policies vary state to state and DMV office

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

Questions...

first question :I applied for my ssn on monday .... the ssn has to have my married name like my ead right? I read some people get their ssn with their MAiden name?

second question:why some couples get interviewed separated and others together?

My take is that it really comes down to the general practice of that USCIS Field Office and it is at the discretion of the Interview Officer on the day of your interview. I am sure there may be some method to who gets picked and who doesn't; I guess there really isn't a definitive answer to why it happens.

Maybe they draw straws at the beginning of the work day :lol:

-Dec 2009: Got Engaged.

-Jan 2010: Fell out of Status.

-Oct 2010: Married USC.
