On May 15, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

EAD has been approved.

Grats!

Yes you do. You were only required to submit a photocopy of it to begin with and the interview notice just says to bring the original to the interview (which is for verification - they don't keep it).

Don't worry about it. Lots of people get a bit too worked up over this small stuff. Just take a breath and relax...find something to put your mind into for a few days,

Day 91: 06/05/12 Interview @ 8:30am: APPROVED ON THE SPOT!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 around 6 pm received text that updated aproved status on USCIS website

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

Question about EAD! Last friday 11th I saw online that my EAD was in production today 16th I saw its in production again? I mean... they changed the date to 16th may and is in production still... why 2 times production???

I didnt get my interview date yet :( ... im waitingggggggggggggggggg

Nobody knows why, it happened to me and many others but it does NOT slow the process down. Rest assured you will gets yours either Saturday or Tuesday at the latest. Most are taking 8-10 days from the first email notification, so not too long now :thumbs:

I just wanted to say good luck to Skul Teacher, whose GC interview is tomorrow. All the best :)

He, he! Where and at what time is your interview? Mine is at Newark, NJ at 8.30 am.

It was for both my petitioners 2011 taxes and also that of the joint sponsor. I have since responded to it though. I should be grateful that my EAD has been approved and soon to be in my hands for the time being. Thank you!
