Hey everyone ... On Friday May 11,2012.. I got 2 emails one states that Uscis mailed my ead card out and a second email states that USPS pick up my new card for delivery.... And just - few moments ago I got a tracking number and tracked my ead mail and it shows that it is in my local post office , out for delivery... Expected delivery is today May 14,2012... Yahhhh I'm happy I'm getting my card today... Definitely going too social security office tomorrow :-)

I have a question... How can i TRACK where is my EAD letter with the USPS? I see many people saying stuff like its on its way, or in the usps office ...

No I 94 for Canadians.

Figured the citizenship into the ID's.

No tax returns at filing because she was not required to file the last few years - she had no income when living in Canada with me. If they ask for it I will have the current one at the interview.

Arrived on F1 visa on 25 Dec 2008. Graduated June 2011. Started OPT Sep 2011.

AOS applied March 21, 2012. GC approved June 11, 2012 & received June 18, 2012.

Exactly three months from start to finish,no RFEs.

Day 01,March 21, 2012: Concurrent filing of I-130/AOS/EAD/AP to Chicago Lockbox

Day 02,March 22, 2012: Package delivered to Chicago Lockbox

Day 04,March 24, 2012: USCIS Acceptance Confirmation received through e-mail

Day 07,March 27, 2012: Checks cashed.

Day 13,April 02, 2012 : NOAs received for I-130,I-485,EAD/AP & Biometrics

Day 36,April 25, 2012 : Biometrics Completed at Elizabeth, NJ.

Day 45,May 04, 2012 : E-mail notification for interview received for June 11

Day 46,May 05, 2012 : Received hard copy of interview notice

Day 56,May 16, 2012 : EAD/AP Production e-mail

Day 64,May 24, 2012 : EAD/AP Card in hand

My experience at the SSA Office was straight forward. All they needed was my EAD and the application form which I had completed and printed off at home. They ask a couple of yes/no questions and you are done. The wait time for me was about 90min but I do live in the city and my local Office is right downtown. The receipt says that your SSN will arrive in 2 weeks, mine took 5 days-- so it is reletiviley quick and pleasant all round-- well compared to the DMV that is, they couldn't organize a piss up in a brewery that bunch :bonk:

Hey I just finished getting my ssn and it was maybe 10 mins! In an out. They told me that I could come back tomorrow because it takes 24 hrs to get the actual number. But wait for the card that will come in the mail. Good luck today!

Calling really isn't going to do anything, they will just tell you that they are processing it and you will hear something soon.

FWIW 60 days is only the average. I bet you hear something this week.

As I say to everyone every case is different but it seems to be taking more or less around the 2month mark.. I wouldn't be surprised if u get ur email this week.. Stay positive I know it's hard to wait
