Good luck to everyone that has their interviews coming up and to those that are getting their EAD's. It's been one hell of a journey so far, but with the help, chats, words of encouragement that some of us come here to get every single day... it's made the journey a lot funner and calmer. Thank you guys!

Day 18: 03/24/12 Biometric appt letter receieved for 4/16/12

Day 41: 04/16/12 Biometric appt

Day 42: 04/17/12 Called USCIS to fix Name problem at biometric appt

Day 56: 05/01/12 Status updated on website EAD in production

Day 57: 05/02/12 Status updated on website Interview appt 06/05

Day 62: 05/07/12 EAD MAILED!!!

Day 65: 05/10/12 EAD IN HAND!!!

Day 91: 06/05/12 around 6 pm received text that updated aproved status on USCIS website

*Some Day between 06/07/12-06/11/12 We received two notices that we were aproved

one for hubby and one for me..do no know exact date because we were out of town*

Day 96: 06/11/12 text received USCIS mailed GC

Day 96: 06/11/12 another text received USPS picked up GC

Day 99: 06/14/12 GC in hand!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there..

My update.. still waiting for any email or something after that my biometrics were taking on may 3rd! I hope to get any email soon with good news :). It has been a very exhausting procedure really.

Day 1 - 04/02/2012 - Delivered!!!
Day 5 - 04/06/2012 - "Acceptance confirmation received for entire forms & routed to NBC" was sent via email.
Day 10 - 04/11/2012 - NOA for I-{130/AOS/AP/EAD} Received.
Day 15 - 04/16/2012 - NOA for Biometrics appointment Received. {Scheduled for 05/08/12}
Day 37 - 05/08/2012 - Biometrics app completed.
Day 44 - 05/15/2012 - Interview date schedule @ Dallas/Irving TX..
Day 54 - 05/25/2012 - EAD/AP production Notification.
Day 75 - 06/15/2012 - Interview'd with NO approval. 1 hr Post-interview: Received I-485/Card production email.
Day 78 - 06/18/2012 - 2nd emails {I-485/Decision/Register PR and I-130/Post-Decision} Received.
Day 81 - 06/21/2012 - Received {email of Card mailed out} and 2 Hardcopies {I-485 & I-131 approval}
Day 83 - 06/23/2012 - GC touched down. 10x Mailman.

Haha I do samething but dnt check uscis site that often bc I know it won't change till after interview.. But I get emails directly to my iPhone when ppl here reply or post so I check this multiple times not just for my benefit but bc maybe I can answer some questions for ppl :-)

Wattle Tree, Texas Newbie, Kindly Waiting, Mike Z, Classy Bee, JamBoy & Kstrozyk had their interviews earlier this month and they were all approved.

MsnotBonJovi, Mike X & myself have interviews in June.

Chris do you have a tax ID number? if so, how did you go about getting it?

I do not have a tax ID number but the process to obtain an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) is easy and free and you can find the W-7 application here.
